This policy explains what data GainzKeepr collects, why we use it, and how you can manage it.

Usage analytics
Usage analytics helps us understand which screens people use, how long logging takes, and where requests fail or flows are left unfinished. These events are linked to your account and may include screen names, foreground time, interaction timing, app version and selected actions. Usage events do not include meal descriptions, photos, nutrition values, clarification answers or recorded screen content. They are stored in GainzKeepr's infrastructure.
Usage analytics is collected while you are signed in. Signing out clears events waiting to be sent. Service and security logs are collected separately to operate the app. The app keeps a bounded delivery queue for up to seven days; scheduled cleanup targets new usage events older than 90 days. Account deletion also removes account-linked usage events.
Storage and security
We use standard security practices and take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Public website measurement
On the public website, we count page views and clicks to the App Store or Google Play. Events contain an allowlisted page, the first public page visited in the tab, a broad referrer category such as Google or ChatGPT, and the store link selected. We do not send full referring URLs, query strings, account IDs, meal information or a persistent visitor identifier in these events.
Session storage in your browser keeps the landing page and referrer category across pages in the same tab, with a 30-minute inactivity limit. Website measurement does not use cookies. Event records are stored in Cloudflare Analytics Engine for three months. These counts may be incomplete and do not identify app installs or purchases. Cloudflare separately processes network information to deliver and secure the site.
Third-party services
We may use trusted services for sign-in, analytics, email, subscriptions, and app reliability. They receive only the data needed to provide those services.

You can update or delete your account in the app. You can also contact us for help.
Children's privacy
GainzKeepr is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
